WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H is reportedly very happy with the progress that the current United States Champion Austin Theory is making on the main roster.

Theory received a massive push during Vince McMahon's run and this didn't sit well with the WWE universe. WWE even put the Money in the Bank briefcase on him last year.

Following Vince McMahon's exit, Triple H had a huge task in his hand with Austin Theory. Hunter surprisingly was able to successfully hit the reset button after booking a failed cash-in.

Theory's selfie-clicking cowardly heel gimmick was immediately dropped after his failed cash-in and was given a bit more serious character by the new creative team.

Right after his gimmick change, Theory won back his United States Championship. He also had big wins over top stars like Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins during his run.

According to the latest report from WrestlingNews.co, Triple H and the WWE officials are pleased with Theory's progress and they expect him to be WWE's top star in the future.

Ever since arriving on the main roster, Theory has always been compared to WWE legend John Cena. It looks like the WWE is about to book Theory vs Cena at WrestleMania 39.

Cena will return to WWE next week on Raw and Theory is expected to confront the legend at the show. Fans are eagerly waiting to see who will come out on top if the rumored Mania match happens.
