Los Angeles Lakers star James scored 38 points in a 133-110 defeat by Oklahoma City Thunder. LeBron James scored enough points to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's NBA career points record of 38,387.

LeBron broke the record that had stood for over 30 years, and he was praised by his family, teammates, and numerous celebrities.

However, not everyone was supportive of LeBron surpassing Kareem, one of the celebrities who took a shot at LeBron was Gordon Ryan.

Gordon Ryan (born July 8, 1995) is a jiu-jitsu black belt from New Jersey, best known as a no-gi submission specialist and three-time ADCC World champion.

Gordon Ryan, rather than congratulating LeBron, made a slavery joke and insulted him.

"I must be late to the party. What is this? Is it the number of slaves he has manufacturing his sponsored gear while he complains about equality? Asking for a friend." said Gordon.

This isn't the first time LeBron James has been in the crossfire of those in the fighting industry either.

James has been called out before for his association with Nike. Colby Covington has slammed James on the same matter in the past.
