WWE is one of the biggest platforms for wrestlers to showcase their talents and reach the point which remains a dream for many others.

While some wrestlers make their way into WWE, it is not in their hands to get there through hard work and good performance, as WWE has a boss who controls it.

One such WWE superstar who is a great in-ring performer and has delivered some outstanding performances in WWE yet didn't receive the opportunity for fame he deserved was Claudio Castagnoli (Cesaro).

Cesaro is a former WWE United States Champion who happened to win multiple tag team championships throughout his career in WWE. However, he never became the face of the company because of a lack of opportunities.

In the "Story Time with Dutch Mantell" podcast, Jack Swagger, Cesaro's former tag team partner, spoke about Cesaro's failure to reach the main event of WWE over the past couple of years.

"The Real Americans, but, as the group slowly grew popular, plans came in to split the team. We were there with Triple H, and he was explaining to us what was happening. I didn't say anything and I wish I would have,"  Jack Swagger said.

"They wanted [Cesaro] to be a big star for them, even though Vince constantly put his thumb on Claudio ... like taking away the Giant Swing." He further added.

Castagnoli won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX and was planned to put in with Paul Heyman to bring him into the glory. However, Vince dropped the idea, four weeks later, leaving Cesaro at the same spot where he started his career.
