Boxing legend Mike Tyson is facing a lawsuit where a woman is claiming that he violently r*ped her during the early 1990s at a dance club.

The suit is filed under New York's Adult Survivors Act against Tyson and the unnamed woman is reportedly seeking $5 million in damages.

"I met Mike Tyson in the early 1990s at a dance club. Tyson told us about a party and asked us to join him. My friend was going to drop off her car and Tyson said he would pick her up."

"He [Tyson] then pulled my pants off and violently r*ped me…As a result of Tyson's r*pe, I suffered and continue to suffer from physical, psychological, and emotional injury." The affidavit said.

Tyson in the past has been charged with sexual assault and was sent to prison for six years. He served three years and was later released on parole.

Circled Dot

Mike Tyson's legal representatives have asked the case to be removed from the supreme court. As the case is between two citizens of different states and it falls under the district court jurisdiction.

The legendary boxer is yet to respond to the accusations publicly and whether he will move legally to prove his innocence or will he try to make a settlement outside court is unknown as of now.

The veteran boxer's fans are really concerned with the situation and some believe that if found guilty then Tyson's legendary achievements in his career will be tarnished.
