Since taking over creative duties from Vince McMahon, Triple H has brought several positive changes to the product as the company is currently at an all-time high in generated revenue.
His booking style also received praise from many as he pushed some of the underutilized stars since taking charge. The company's biggest babyface Sami Zayn is one example of the same.
But one person who struggled under Triple H's booking is former Money in the Bank winner Baron Corbin. Hunter has booked Corbin well during the NXT days but failed to do so on the main roster.
Corbin's 'Happy Corbin' gimmick was binned right after Triple H took charge and he was repackaged with a brand new "The Modern Day Wrestling God" gimmick and had WWE legend JBL alongside him.
The alliance was short-lived as Triple H decided to pull the plug on the act and split the two superstars on last week's edition of Monday Night RAW. JBL also 'buried' Corbin before leaving him.
Fans were really upset with the way Hunter handled Corbin as many felt that he was not given enough material to work with despite being an immensely talented sports entertainer.
It'll be interesting to see what the new creative direction will be for the former boxer. There are speculations that Triple H is planning to bring Corbin's ‘Lone Wolf’ character from NXT back.
