After suffering from a muscle injury, Cody Rhodes made a solid comeback in WWE by winning the Royal Rumble, which is essentially a ticket to WrestleMania.
However, the audience also witnessed a sudden twist in the Bloodline storyline when the Honoary UCE Sami Zayn betrayed Roman Reigns in the main event of the Royal Rumble.
The segment between the Tribal Chief Roman Reign and Sami Zayn is trending hot, and it has now confused WWE fans as to whether it is the Honorary UCE or the American Nightmare that will challenge Roman in WrestleMania.
To clear the doubts among the audience, and to avoid the segment between Cody and Roman looking secondary, WWE booked a segment with Rhodes and Heyman on the recent episode of WWE RAW.
Heyman and Rhodes initially had a conversation about Dusty Rhodes and how Heyman helped him during his economic crisis. However, Cody was enraged when Heyman made a comparison between Cody and Roman as to who was the son Dusty Rhodes desired.
"You, Cody, were his favorite son. But Roman Reigns was the son he always wanted.” Heyman said to Cody.
Cody replied, "I’m only trying to win a wrestling championship, but everyone wants to make it personal. Your boy, Roman Reigns, is going to pay for it at WrestleMania when I take those titles — personally.”
Time will tell whether the statement made by the American Nightmare becomes true. It will be interesting to see who has the last laugh at the end of WrestleMania 39.
