The collaboration between the company and Serena Williams still continues, so Nike has decided to name their biggest building on the Nike Campus in Beaverton, Oregon, the Serena Williams Building in honor of the tennis player.
The new Nike shoe, the Air More Uptempo, was created by Serena Williams Design Crew and Nike, continuing the partnership. Since February 1, 2023, the Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Air More Uptempo shoe has been available for sale at the Nike website.
Serena Williams and Nike have upgraded their uptempo sneakers in the Dark Obsidian/Space and Purple/Volt/Summit White color combinations, completely changing the shoe's look.
The upper part of the Nike Air More Uptempo sneakers is made of a material that resembles denim and is contrasted with Volt throughout with stitched embellishments.
A combination of materials with ribbed tongues and the upper part made of twill-denim. The labels and tiny Swoosh on the Space Purple variant feature additional contrasts.
The Air More Uptempo's seams are highlighted in volts, drawing attention to the AIR logo. All these features have given a unique look to the sneakers.
