Dana White Doesn't Want UFC Legend to Retire Just Yet

It's not always that Dana White refuses to believe that a fighter is past his prime and should maybe hang up their gloves.

When Amanda Nunes lost, White wasn't against the idea that maybe it's time Nunes retired.

As was the case with Robbie Lawler, Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, Jose Aldo, and Frankie Edgar when White opined how these fighters have earned enough to retire.

However, White seems to think otherwise for Derrick Lewis, who succumbed to his third straight loss inside the Octagon recently.

Sergey Spivak submitted Derrick Lewis in the first round at UFC Vegas 68 to hand Lewis' his third straight loss inside the Octagon.

This was the first time that Lewis dropped to three straight losses in his tenured mixed martial arts journey.

While fans are of the idea that maybe it's time for Lewis to hang up his gloves, Dana White seems to think otherwise.

"I love the guy. I love him, so he’s not going anywhere." White said on UFC releasing Derrick Lewis or possible retirement.
