Big news flashed when Hollywood megastar Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson shared that his mother, Ata Johnson, survived a fatal car accident.
The Rock used Instagram on Feb. 2 to share an image of his mom’s totaled red Cadillac truck to inform people about the accident.
Details of the accident have not been made public, but it is believed that she had a head-on collision with a truck on the front passenger side of her vehicle.
The Rock was grateful for her survival and wrote, "Thank you God 🙏🏾 she’s ok. Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night. She’ll survive and continue to get evaluated."
He also thanked LAPD & LAFD for cooperating throughout the course of the event. "Thank you LAPD & LAFD for being so caring & focused. Thanks for staying on phone and talking me thru it all."
The Brahma Bull further stated how resilient his mother is. He wrote, "This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head-on collision with a drunk driver, and attempted suicide. She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real."
The Rock also stressed the importance of loving our parents as he wrote, “I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug ‘em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3 am call we never want to get "
Ata Johnson is a precious person in Dwyane's life. She always stood with him, supported him, and played a vital role in his success. We hope she recovers soon.
