The former NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal is a heartthrob of many given his humility, simplicity, charming personality, and most importantly, his generosity.

Shaq very often uses his $400 million fortune to help everyone around him in the best way possible. He does this in numerous ways and on numerous occasions.

Shaq once appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live a few years back, where he discussed the unveiling of a statue bearing his likeness outside Staples Center. The subject of his tipping habits came up while talking about his habit of not carrying cash.

On the same show, Shaq shared an incident when he went to a restaurant and gave a huge tip to a restaurant waiter. This very incident reflects Shaq's kindness and sympathy for others.

Shaq once said in an interview: "When I'm at restaurants, I am a big tipper. I like show people my appreciation. So, when they come up to the table I say,......"

Shaq continued: " .....'The quicker I get my order, the bigger your tip will be.' And then the food will come fast. When we get ready to leave, I’ll ask them, 'How much do you want?' And the most someone said was $4,000. And I said, 'OK. No problem.'

When Jimmy Kimmel expressed his bewilderment at hearing Shaq, O'Neal claimed the young woman thanked him for paying her rent for two months.

Jimmy later said that because of the Hall of Famer's generosity, he would never be able to dine out again.
