However, the couple went on to face some tough and depressing tomes as a reporter exposed the Spanish defender and provided adequate evidence that proved him of having an extramarital affair.
Shakira and Pique announced their break up following Pique's cheating fiasco. Meanwhile, Shakira has made some news as she uploaded a song that dissed Pique.
The Colombian singer along with Bizzarap produced a song named music sessions #53. The line from the song that generated tremendous attention was," I’m worth two of 22 / You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo / You traded a Rolex for a Casio".
The aforementioned line is in retrospect to the reports of Pique arriving at work with his new car Twingo wearing a Casio watch.
Amidst the drama, Shakira also was seen posing wearing a witch mannequin in front of her former mother-in-law's house.
According to POP BASE," Shakira has reportedly put up a witch mannequin on her balcony facing her ex-mother-in-law’s house, while her Bizarrap session can be heard blasting on repeat at full volume".
A fan also added a context as she tweeted, "To everyone that doesn't know, Shakira's mother-in-law asked her to admit to the press that her son didn't cheat, also blamed Shakira for being too busy in her career and knew about his son cheating and accepted it.
