WWE Chairman Vince McMahon recently returned to the WWE and regained control of the company by becoming the Executive Chairman of the Board.

Vince reportedly returned to the company in order to find a potential buyer for his billion-dollar company and there were rumors that a deal was agreed to sell the company to Saudi Arabia's PIF.

However, according to the latest report by TMZ Sports, the news of WWE getting bought by Saudi Arabia are false and the Stamford-based promotion is looking at other options as well.

One major name that's rumored by many on social media to buy the WWE from Vince McMahon is WWE legend and Hollywood megastar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

WWE played a huge role in establishing Dwayne Johnson before his Hollywood success and fans feel that he will be the ideal candidate to buy the company due to his love for the wrestling business.

The Rock's "Seven Bucks" Production company does have the financial capability to buy the WWE but it looks very unlikely as of now.

The Rock is also rumored to make his WWE return at WrestleMania 39 and is expected to face his cousin Roman Reigns there are no official confirmations regarding his return as of now.
