Sam Amick of the Athletics, published a synopsis of his brief conversation with LeBron James after the Lakers' win over the Sacramento Kings. In the conversation, James repeatedly refused questions about the Lakers' management.

LeBron James strongly refuted on Twitter about an article that characterized him as becoming increasingly frustrated with the LA Lakers front office for failing to trade draught picks to improve the current roster.

Sam Amick tweeted: LeBron James to The Athletic on the Lakers' roster plans: "Y'all know what the f*** should be happening." He wrote further: “More here on his waning patience, how his greatness is forcing this conversation, and why he deserves more help.”

James tweeted in reply: "Hey Sam actually my patience isn't waning. You make it sound like I'm frustrated when I'm really not. I told you over and over, my job is focused on the guys in the locker room, my job isn't the roster. That's the reality of that conversation."

James further wrote: "And I saw what I said with the... Upmost respect and calmness that's the mood I'm in! Your welcome! 5-game winning streak."

Several fans have commented on the post, a fan wrote: “own your narrative!!!”, another wrote: “These guys are in the click biz, they get their clicks and move on.” While another wrote: “Tell ‘em goat.”

Many fans have shared memes making fun of his tweet, a fan wrote: “Well that was a fun Sunday morning.” A fan wrote: “You sound fustrated saying this lil bro” while another commented: “u soft now trade AD or im not a fan anymore.”

Although Sam Amick was doing his job, LeBron's comments can be speculated in many ways. However, the Lakers finally seem to be back on track with 5 wins in a row to run their record to 19-21.
