Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are two of the best soccer players of this generation. Because of their impeccable technique, they have cemented their place among the greatest Soccer players.

Both Messi and Ronaldo have been star players for their respective clubs/countries and rightly so as the duo has scored a total of  793 and 819 goals respectively in their spectacular careers.

The rivalry during their tenure at the Spanish league La Liga was one to cherish as many fans would tune up the channels only to watch the two G.O.A.T.S locking horns.

However, the year 2022 was very contrasting for the elite veterans as on one side Messi achieved his lifelong dream of winning the world cup while on the other hand, Ronaldo went through some depressing times.

As Ronaldo was badly seeking out a club to play for, a Saudi Arabian club offered a big sum of money to Ronaldo and after some hesitation, the Portuguese signed a mammoth $214 million deal for 2.5 years with Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo got a grand welcome at Al-Nassr during his first appearance in front of fans. The decibels of the stadium went sky-high as Ronaldo arrived and amidst all this Ronaldo achieved yet another off-field feat.

According to a tweet, "Cristiano Ronaldo's presentation ceremony with Al Nassr reached 3 billion views on 40 channels around the world. While FIFA World Cup Final in Qatar had 2 billion views overall.

However, Messi might get an opportunity to settle the scores with Ronaldo yet again, as it is speculated that Al-Nassr could play a friendly against PSG.
