The year 2022 was a tough one to digest for the likes of Ronaldo as Man Utd terminated his contract and later got evicted from his last world cup
The whole Man Utd saga got initiated when Ronaldo chose to get interviewed by Piers Morgan during which he made some eyebrow-raising statements.
Ronaldo claimed that he was betrayed by the club's manager and a few members of the management wanted were adamant to kick him out of the club.
When the interview got aired it shook the digital domain and made people berserk. Man Utd. on the other hand fined Ronaldo for contract violations and decided to terminate the 5-time ballon dor winner.
However, A big blunder has happened on the behalf of Manchester United after an image got viral which is apparently of the club's calendar featuring "sacked" Ronaldo.
Tom Williams, A football writer and broadcaster shared the calendar's picture and wrote," May your new year get off to a better start than whoever put together the official 2023 Manchester United calendar".
Netizens were quite shocked and puzzled by this debacle. A fan tweeted, "I have long held a theory that the player clubs put as January in their calendars is the player most likely to leave. United went a bit early.
While a fan had a very pragmatic take on this whole fiasco as he tweeted, "These calendars were already out and in circulation! So I don’t think its a big deal!".
