Former WWE and AEW Superstar Dies at 37 After Battle With Illness

Former WWE Superstar Jaysin Strife has died at the age of 37 after a long and intense battle with illness.

His brother Jason confirmed on Thursday that the Independent wrestler has passed away after a lengthy battle with an undisclosed illness.

Strife whose real name is Nathan Blodgett has worked in the WWE where he made several brief appearances as an extra.

He competed at the WWE 205 live show in July 2018 where he lost to former 24x7 champion Akira Tozawa. It was his last WWE match.

The Independent wrestler has appeared recently on an episode of AEW dark in November where he faced off against Powerhouse Hobbs.

Strife has also worked as a promoter of an Independent promotion which is based in Omaha Nebraska named Magnum Wrestling.

The Independent wrestler has competed in the ring with several top stars in the past as his previous opponents include names like Seth Rollins, Claudio Castagnoli, Jay Lethal, etc.

Several current and ex-wrestlers like Sonjay Dutt, Adam Pearce, Ethan Page etc. paid tribute to the late wrestler through their social media accounts.
