Throughout NBA history, there have been numerous players who have formed incredible on-court partnerships. Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant are the top two names on that list.
Kobe and Shaq were one of the league's best duos and they won the hearts of millions with their incredible performances.
During their tenure together, the Lakers were the most entertaining and dominant organization. They won three consecutive championships with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Shaq has recently posted on social media that he is not afraid to share old pictures of himself and Bryant. Rick Foxx uploaded a photo to Instagram of Shaq, Bryant, and Fox, which was captioned "My brothers forever."
There are some amazing memories of their togetherness as members of the Los Angeles Lakers. Their friendship and cooperation enabled them to deliver outstanding performances for the team and win titles.
Their feud was real. After the Lakers won the title in Game 7 of the 2010 finals, Kobe was asked what the win meant to him to which he responded, "Just one more than Shaq. I can take that to the bank." Kobe won 5 NBA titles and Shaq won 4.
There was a time when Kobe wouldn’t pass the ball. Shaq confronted him saying- “Kobe, there’s no ‘I’ in team” to which Kobe replied- “I know. But there’s an ‘M-E’ in that motherf***er.”
After the passing of Kobe, Shaq regretted not being in touch with him. He said- "I thought we were both going to get old. We'll both be at the 50-year Lakers' anniversary." He then advised-"Call your mom. Call your brother. Call the homeboy you used to party with in college. Forever is a long time."
