After losing to Dallas Mavericks on 25th December, LeBron James and his teammates received sympathy from their fans. However, the Lakers made their comeback on 28th December.
The Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic 129-110 led by LeBron James and Russell Westbrook. James scored 28 points, 5 assists, and 7 rebounds, while Russell made 15 points, 13 assists, and 13 rebounds with a triple-double off the bench.
The Los Angeles Lakers' victory was needed to uphold the team's morale. They were on a four-game losing streak prior to the victory. Even after the victory, Skip Bayless who is a constant critic of James couldn't stop himself from commenting.
Skip Bayless tweeted about LeBron's poor 3-point shooting by criticizing him. Despite the Lakers' victory, Skip Bayless slammed the team, particularly LeBron James.
Skip Bayless tweeted that despite LeBron's poor 3-point shooting performance, the Lakers won the game. He added: "Rest of the team was 17-36 from three! With a triple-double (15/12/13) Westbrook outperformed Lebron."
Skip Bayless also called LeBron James the NBA's worst 3-point shooter along with Russell Westbrook.
James' 3-point shooting has not been spectacular this year. He has a season shooting percentage of 30.6%. Despite his poor shooting, he's making 27.8 points, 6.6 assists, and 8.1 rebounds per game.
Due to LeBron James' poor shooting, the Lakers have lost a few games, but he has always tried to put the team in a position to win. James' would like to see his shooting numbers improve, given everything he has to do in his 20th season.
