The best promoter in the fight business, Dana White has faced a lot of criticism over fighter pay issues in UFC in 2022.

Many elite fighters such as Jon Jones, Francis Ngannou, Jorge Masvidal have raised their voice against UFC's fighter pay.

And the former UFC middleweight title challenger, Paulo Costa is certainly one of the stars who is not happy with his UFC fight purse.

With 8 fights in the UFC, Paulo Costa has fought many former UFC champions such as Israel Adesanya, Luke Rockhold, and Johnny Hendricks.

However, Paulo Costa reportedly still gets extremely low fight purse despite putting on many exciting fights throughout his UFC career.

Paulo Costa's fights against Yoel Romero, Luke Rockhold and Marvin Vettori were some of the best fights in his UFC career.

But, UFC reportedly offered a fight purse of $70k to show and $70 to win to fight the former middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker on a PPV card.

UFC fighters often sign multiple fight deals in their early MMA career and find themselves in such situations. Costa has declined to fight Whittaker, which forced UFC to cancel the PPV fight.
