In the final PPV of the year, two undefeated UFC featherweight prospects, Bryce Mitchell and Ilia Topuria faced each other.

The fight was expected to be a barn burner as both the fighters were elite and was considered the future title contenders.

However, Bryce Mitchell got dominated by the Spanish UFC fighter, Ilia Topuria. Mitchell suffered a second round submission loss.

Ilia Topuria outclassed Mitchell in both striking and grappling, striking serious doubt in his opponent's heart about his future.

Following the loss to Ilia Topuria, Bryce Mitchell was seen contemplating retirement from Mixed Martial Arts.

“I’m just in so much pain that I just don’t think it’s worth it to keep going. So I wanna stop with MMA and I wanna take every bit of focus that I spent every single day on MMA."- Mitchel stated.

"I wanna put it into something else. Everything is meant to be and I’m just gonna move on with my life and take all the energy that I’ve spent doing MMA, I’m gonna put it into something else."- Mitchel continued.

Bryce Mitchell has a record of 15-1 and has 6 wins in UFC including the wins against Edson Barboza, Charles Rosa and Andre Fili.
