16-time World Champion John Cena on last week's Smackdown made a surprise appearance when he interrupted The Bloodline via satellite.
Cena also confirmed that he will be Kevin Owens' partner to face the team of Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn on the December 30th edition of Smackdown.
WrestleTix is reporting that around 12,000 tickets are already sold for the show and only around 450 tickets are left for fans to purchase.
The show is set to happen from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida and fans will also get to see Roman Reigns compete on the blue brand after a long time.
Cena's announcement means that his record of having a WWE match every year since making his debut in 2002 will be saved as it'll be his first match of 2022.
