In the final both Mbappe and Messi showcased their class and continued their fine run of form as The former scored a hattrick and the latter hit the net 2 times.
However, Argentine Goalkeeper Emi Martinez also contributed immensely to the success of the team as No. 23 made an excellent save against Muani in injury time.
Emiliano Martinez also saved two crucial penalty kicks against Tchouaméni and Koman. Despite his heroics, Emiliano is in the news as he did a bizarre celebration after wining the Golden gloves.
Martinez after being offered the Golden gloves was seen doing a lewd gesture toward french fans. The Goalkeeper was heavily criticized for doing that obscene gesture.
Martinez referred to the controversy and he justified his actions by blaming french supporters and added that they were repeatedly booing him and the celebration was merely a retaliation.
