LeBron James Gets One Step Closer to Beat Michael Jordan’s 20-Year-Old Record

LeBron James became the oldest player to surpass that scoring threshold in three straight games after propelling the Lakers to a 126-108 victory over the Denver Nuggets with a 30-point performance.

The last person to accomplish that achievement was Michael Jordan while he played for the Washington Wizards.

James increased his already impressive point total by 30, moving even closer to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's scoring record.

Lebron is currently only 765 points away from being the undisputed scoring champion with his current total of 37,622 points.

It would take him about 29 games, based on his current scoring average which is 26.7 points per night, to do the imaginable.

James scored 35 points in a victory against the Detroit Pistons, and he contributed 33 of his own points to the Lakers' comeback against the Boston Celtics.

After Anthony Davis’s injury, the Lakers have needed everything their star player James has to offer.

James might not be the same force he once was. The days of a James-led team for the Finals are long gone.

However, James' performance against the Nuggets to match Michael Jordan is something that he is capable of if he stays focused.
