After being introduced in New York by the reality star's New Jersey Nets colleague Jordan Farmar, the couple started dating in 2010.
Kim Kardashian stated in June 2021 that she wants to apologize to Kris Humphries for the way their relationship ended as she felt compelled to go through with the wedding during their 72-day marriage.
According to several sources, it was exposed that the newlyweds were "not getting along at all". In November 2011, Humphries requested a divorce citing "fraud" as the cause.
He asserted that Kardashian only wed him for television ratings. As the divorce process dragged on, the couple revealed in December of that year. They thought of having a child before they split
In February 2013, the court scheduled a date for the divorce trial of Kris and Kim to begin. Nevertheless, some sources told in April, that "there was no fraud and the judge advised Kris to settle." In June 2013, they reached a divorce settlement.
In May 2014, Kardashian wed Kanye West, they have 4 kids together. In February 2021, she announced that she was divorcing the rapper. Kanye West accused Kim of having an affair with Chris Paul and claimed that Kim cheated him.
Humphries also had affairs with several women but he keeps his relationships private. He said that it "bothered" him when people referred to his marriage to Kim as "fake".
In a 2019 column for Player's Tribune, Humphries stated that their relationship was genuine in every way. He also added when it became obvious their relationship wasn't working, there was nothing to say.
