Latest reports suggest that WWE negotiated the exit of former Women's Champion Sasha Banks recently.

Banks and her tag team partner Naomi walked away from the company in May after creative differences with Vince McMahon.

The duo were suspended indefinitely due to their actions. Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc then reported that the two superstars were released by the company.

According to Fightful Select, the exit of Sasha Banks was negotiated by the WWE months ago at the time when Wrestling Inc broke the news of her firing.

The WWE are yet to announce the release of Sasha Banks as she is still listed as an active competitor in the talent roster list.

Fightful also reported that due to contractual reasons, Sasha will only be able to take wrestling related bookings from the 1st of January next year.

Sasha Banks was recently announced to be at NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 17 in the Tokyo Dome. It's unclear whether she will be competing at the event.

There are rumors of Banks signing for AEW and being Saraya's mystery partner for the January 11th episode of Dynamite. As of now, there are no concrete reports to suggest Sasha signing with AEW.
