According to reports, The WWE is planning to do a match between Brock Lesnar and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther at WrestleMania next year.

Wrestle Ops on Twitter posted that WWE has internally listed Gunther vs Lesnar as a match for the biggest professional wrestling show in the world.

The Imperium leader in the past has openly discussed the possibility of facing The Beast and he even called Brock his dream opponent.

A first-time-ever match between the two heavyweights could turn out to be the match of the night but the WWE are yet to officially announce the match.

After making his WWE main roster debut, Gunther has been booked like an unstoppable monster and he even captured the Intercontinental championship soon after his arrival.

Brock Lesnar is currently written out of action by the company after an attack by Almighty Bobby Lashley at Crown Jewel.

A Wrestlemania match between Lashley and Lesnar is also rumored as the feud is yet to have a proper conclusion.

Gunther has been the Intercontinental champion for over 180 days and he's set to defend his championship against Ricochet next week.
