Cristiano Ronaldo's Sister Does Not Want Him to Play For Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo is known for his spectacular achievements during his footballing career. however, the Portuguese no. 7 is facing severe backlash from both his former club coach and Portugal's coach for his ignorance and ego.

Manchester United has recently notified that the club has decided to terminate Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with immediate effect. Just a few months after the Man. Utd. facade , a fresh controversy over Ronaldo occurred during Portugal's world cup match against South Korea.

Ronaldo was not pleased with his nation's head coach as he decided to remove the veteran off the pitch in the 65th minute. Ronaldo also showcased a shut-up gesture toward a South Korean player in anger.

After the game, Fans speculated that the spat between the coach and player transpired in the heat of the moment and it won't go any further. However, their hypothesis wasn't true as Santos in an interview taunted Ronaldo for his actions and also hinted that he might not start in the next game.

In Portugal's knockout game versus Switzerland, Ronaldo was benched. The netizens and football pundits were shocked by Santo's decision of playing Ramos for Ronaldo but it paid off big time as the former scored a hattrick.

Ronaldo's girlfriend and his sister were not at all pleased with Portugal's head coach for not playing Ronaldo after everything he has done for his nation. Georgina in a tweet said," it is a shame that Ronaldo is not playing".

And this is what Ronaldo's sister Katia Aveiro said, "I so wanted him to come home, leave the national team & sit next to us, remind him of what he achieved & what home he came from, I so wanted him not to go there anymore, we've suffered enough."

According to Fabrizio Romano's report, it seemed that Ronaldo has threatened to leave the national team after the controversy while in response the FPF clarified that it is a false claim and that Ronaldo will stay in Qatar
