Kyrie Irving, the Brooklyn Nets star, has recently spoken about him getting terminated from Nike.

Irving has been a Nike representative since he became the top overall draft pick in 2011 and entered the NBA.

As per the sources, Irving is paid $11 million per annum from 2014-2023 for sponsoring Nike.

Irving has his own line of basketball shoes with Nike which are immensely popular. If Irving would have continued the contract with Nike, he would have made more than $100 million.

Shams Charania, the American sports reporter for the NBA, recently tweeted that Nike has ended their relationship with Kyrie Irving.

Following Irving's tweet that contained a link to a documentary with overt antisemitic elements in October, Nike canceled their contract with him.

On 3rd Nov, Irving was suspended for eight games from the Brooklyn Nets. On Nov. 20, when the Nets played the Memphis Grizzlies, he made his way back to the team and apologized in front of the media.

Knight stated that Kyrie has crossed his limits, making some unacceptable statements. Hence, Nike has broken up their relationship with Kyrie.
