Cena and Orton were part of WWE's developmental system Ohio Valley Wrestling and the two made their WWE debuts in 2002.

Despite being rivals on the screen, both Orton and Cena are very close behind the scenes and both stars have openly admitted that the two of them get along well.

The Viper recently completed 20 years in the WWE and in an interview where he looked back at his top WWE moments he was asked about his arch rival Cena.

Orton said that he misses the 16-time World champion and he also called Cena a genius who knew how to work the fans.

Cena is currently one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and he is yet to have a match in the WWE in 2022. This is a rare occurrence as he's had a match every year since his debut in 2002.
