There was a big rivalry between UFC and WWE a few years ago when UFC was still a growing promotion in the MMA world.

Former CEO of WWE Vince McMahon saw Dana White and UFC as a threat to his business and wanted to eliminate it.

Vince McMahon once tried to sabotage a UFC show by offering $100,000 to former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen.

McMahon wanted Chael Sonnen, who had a lot of hype behind him because of his trash talking, to not show up for his fight.

However, Mike Golberg informed Dana White about McMahon's evil plan and informed Dana White.

“Vince McMahon contacts Mike Goldberg and… tells… I will give you a $100,000 to no-call, no-show… Goldberg does the right thing and the very first person he calls is Dana"- Sonnen said in his podcast.

"Dana not only gives Mike Goldberg a brand new $500,000 contract but right then realized… I got a problem.”- White rewarded Mike Goldberg for his loyalty.

Mike Goldberg was certainly an integral part of UFC back in the days and fans loved the duo of Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan.
