WWE and Triple H had to go into Smackdown tapings this week in Canada without some of the members of the blue brand roster.

The reason for the absence of several stars was because of the devastating Hurricane Ian that is impacting parts of the United States.

As the majority of the superstars live in Florida, it was difficult for them to travel for the Smackdown tapings this week.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE house shows this weekend could also be impacted due to the hurricane.

Several superstars from Monday night Raw who were in Canada were called in as replacements and were present at this week's Smackdown.

Raw superstars Bianca Belair, Bayley, Kevin Owens, Johnny Gargano, Austin Theory etc were present at the Friday night event.

Major stars like Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, etc were absent from this week's show but the WWE still managed to put on a good show thanks to their roster depth.
