And this was evident in the TV ratings which averaged lower than last week.

The most recent episode of SmackDown drew in 1.778 million viewers in overnight ratings.

This was less than last week's rating which stood at 1.997 million viewers. Needless to say, the absence of Roman Reigns had a lot to with it.

Roman Reigns has emerged as one of the most popular Superstars in professional wrestling, and his absence from WWE programming will certainly have a huge impact on his ratings in the coming weeks.
